AI assistants are good at planning, comparing, writing and organizing. What they don't know is which classes a college offers next term, when they meet, or what a degree requires this year. Fast Schedule gives them that: the catalogs and class schedules of 37 colleges and universities, ready to search.
What it adds to an assistant
Answers from the source
Course descriptions, prerequisites and degree requirements come from each school's published catalog, and class sections from its schedule. Every answer links to a page you can check, and seat counts carry the date they were read.
Every school, the same way
Schools publish on many different systems: CourseLeaf, CurriQunet, eLumen and PDF catalogs; Banner, Colleague and PeopleSoft class searches. Fast Schedule reads them all into one shape, so one question can compare programs and classes across schools.
The right catalog year
Students follow the catalog of the year they started. Fast Schedule keeps each edition it reads, so an assistant can answer for the year that applies, and compare it with the newest.
Made for assistants
A free MCP server with six tools, a skills file, and Markdown and JSON for every page. No account, no sign-in, and nothing to install for a chat that can read the web.
Conversations to try
Each of these pairs Fast Schedule's data with something your assistant already does well: your calendar, a spreadsheet, a comparison, a diagram, another language, or code. The results shown are examples from October 18, 2026, not live data: sections, seats and catalogs change, so ask your assistant for today's answers.
Working full time
Fit a class around your job

Your assistant then
With a calendar connected (Google Calendar, Outlook), it checks both evenings against your week and adds the section you choose as a recurring event, with the registration link in the notes.

I need statistics to transfer. Find STAT C1000 at San Diego Miramar College for Spring 2027, fully online with no set meeting times and open seats. Is there a shorter session?

A JSON and a Markdown file for every page, such as /c/san-diego-mesa-college/schedule/spring-2027/psyc.json.
The same data through the MCP server, for tools that call it directly.
Your assistant then
Codex or Claude Code writes and runs the script. From there it can become a scheduled report or a page for your counseling office.
Calendar, spreadsheet and document steps need those features turned on in your assistant. For answers in every chat, add Fast Schedule as a connector: Use Fast Schedule with AI.
Good to know
Fast Schedule doesn't register you or hold a seat. Register through your school, and check seats there.
It holds catalogs and class schedules, not transfer agreements or your transcript. For credit at a particular university, ask a counselor or check ASSIST.org.
Catalogs and schedules are only as current as the last time Fast Schedule read them. Each page shows when.
See which schools are covered on the home page. More are being added.
