Nonprofit Fundraising

Requirements

The Nonprofit Fundraising Certificate enables students to develop the skills necessary to be effective fundraisers for nonprofit organizations of all types and sizes. Participants demonstrate a strong understanding of the principles of fundraising, the grant-writing process and the negotiation skills necessary to solicit major gifts. There are no prerequisite requirements for this program, and courses are open to all students.

2. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of a grant proposal
3. Provide specific recommendations for improving a nonprofit's fundraising strategies given a real world example
