Data Science Job Skills Certificate

This Job Skills Certificate will prepare students for an entry-level position in data science or data analytics. This program provides students with a foundational understanding of statistical analysis, data science concepts and techniques, and advanced processing and data forecasting using machine learning in Python. Upon completion of the required courses with at least a “C” or “P” (pass) grade in each course, the student will be eligible for a Job Skills Certificate.

Program Learning Outcomes

• 1. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to effectively implement the Python programming language to develop scripts and programs for data analysis.

• 2. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to analyze and communicate the meaning of data elements using the principles of data science and statistical analysis.

• 3. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to create machine learning algorithms that can effectively model and predict data trends.
