Basic Internet Skills Certificate of Completion

The Basic Internet Skills Certificate of Completion prepares students in today’s computerized environment to conduct basic internet research and to communicate with individuals via email. It will also give students the confidence to participate in training that is delivered in online formats. To Achieve the Certificate of Competency: Upon completion of the required courses with a grade of “P” for passing, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Competency.

Program Learning Outcomes

• 1. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to apply different search techniques and methods while accessing a variety of search engines.

• 2. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to demonstrate how to send and receive e-mail, insert attachments, and edit text within the email.

• 3. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to demonstrate the basics of editing images in an image editing platform.
