PSC 115 Concepts in Physical Sciences for Educators
- Units
- 4
- Hours
- 54 Lecture, 54 Lab
- Transfers to
- CSU, UC
An investigation of basic principles of physics and chemistry including matter, physical and chemical properties, energy, motion, light, atomic structure, bonding, solutions and chemical reactions. The inter-dependence of chemistry and physics will be emphasized. Designed for non-science majors, concepts are introduced in the lab through inquiry and further developed during discussion. (Same as CHEM 115).
