1. Need not be enrolled in any other class during the semester besides Work Experience. 2. Must be employed or a volunteer at an approved work-site for the minimum number of hours per unit as stipulated for paid and unpaid status. Each unit requires 75 paid or 60 unpaid hours of work.

General Work Experience Education is supervised employment which is intended to assist students in acquiring desirable work habits, attitudes and career awareness. The work experience need not be related to the students' educational goals, and can be paid or unpaid. Each unit of credit awarded requires 75 hours of paid employment, or 60 hours of unpaid employment. A maximum of 6 units of General Work Experience credit may be earned. Internship/job placement is not guaranteed.
