Job Coaching

Students completing this program will gain a foundation in the basics of job coaching and skill building for individuals with disabilities in an employment setting. This program will also provide advanced strategies and techniques for individuals who are employed or have previous experience as a job coach working with people with disabilities to join or re-enter the workforce. This certificate is awarded to individuals who would like to pursue careers in the vocational and rehabilitative fields.

1. Employ beginning and advanced job coaching techniques to support individuals with varying disabilities in employment settings.
2. Apply appropriate job coaching strategical techniques for documentation, reporting and intervention.
