Overview

The Associate in Arts Degree in Studio Arts is designed to prepare students for transfer into the CSU, UC, and private art college baccalaureate degree programs in Studio Arts or similar fields of study. The AA in Studio Arts provides foundational course work covering a range of materials and techniques and allows students to gain proficiency in an area of specialization. Skill development is enhanced by historical and critical analysis, personally driven projects, and professionalism in process and presentation, with the goal of developing a strong portfolio.
