The ESL for Healthcare II Certificate of Competency provides intermediate to advanced ESL students with the specific English needed to succeed in several courses that are prerequisites for entrance into El Camino College's healthcare programs such as Anatomy 30, Anatomy 32, Anatomy and Physiology 34A and 34B, and Radiologic Technology A. It also provides students English support for entry-level courses in the healthcare programs and helps students learn how to communicate and interact appropriately with future employers, colleagues, and patients within a variety of healthcare contexts.
Certificate of Competency
A Certificate of Competency will be granted upon completion of all program requirements.
