The Administration of Justice Certificate of Achievement prepares students for careers in a variety of criminal justice fields at the local, state, and national levels. The program is designed to instruct students on the principles of the federal, state, and local criminal justice systems. A comprehensive overview of the criminal justice system is provided through curriculum that includes the study of law enforcement, criminal courts, corrections, and the juvenile justice system.

| IMPORTANT: To obtain the Certificate of Achievement in Administration of Justice, students must complete the following requirements with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0: | ||
| The Administration of Justice certificate coursework below. | ||
| All certificate coursework must be completed with a C or better. | ||
| Must be at least 18 years of age. | ||
| Possess a driver’s license. | ||
| Be free of any felony convictions or legal mandates that restrict or prohibit employment as a law enforcement officer or possession of a firearm. | ||
| Pass the Post-Entry Law Enforcement Test Battery (PELLET-B) with a minimum score of 42. | ||
| In addition to the PELLET-B, you will be required to perform the following: - A 1.5 mile run in less than 20 minutes. - A minimum of 20 push-ups in 2 minutes. - A minimum of 30 sit-ups in 2 minutes. | ||
| Obtain Department of Justice (DOJ) Live Scan Firearms Clearance. Students shall obtain DOJ clearance prior to the first day of the academy. | ||
| Obtain medical clearance to ensure you can fully participate in academy training prior to the first day of the academy. | ||
