Small Business Funding Certificate of Completion

The Small Business Funding Certificate of Completion provides a framework for students to develop small business funding skills and training that will serve as a foundation for preparation to solicit funds for a business. This certificate is a gateway into other noncredit programs in Entrepreneurship that lead to the development and implementation of a small business. To achieve the Certificate of Completion: Upon completion of the following courses with a grade of ‘P’, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

Program Learning Outcomes

• 1. Upon successful completion of the program the student will be able to identify different funding streams for a small business.

• 2. Upon successful completion of the program the student will be able to develop start-up costs and create a valuation for a business.

• 3. Upon successful completion of the program the student will be able to use tips, tools, and techniques to prepare an effective presentation.
