Beginning Computer Skills Certificate of Completion
The Beginning Computer Skills Certificate of Completion prepares students for their academic progression as well as their professional advancement by giving the basic knowledge of computer functions required in an office environment. To Achieve the Certificate of Competency: Upon completion of the required courses with a grade of “P” for passing, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Competency.
Program Learning Outcomes
1. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to perform basic computer tasks, including but not limited to turning on and off a computer.
2. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to explore the basic tools and features of Microsoft Windows.
3. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to utilize the computer keyboard and mouse to strike each key correctly.
