This is an introductory course for students interested in pursuing a health-related career. It provides an overview of the various careers in allied health, including nursing, dental hygiene and more. Topics include career preparation and development, education pathway to licensing, job market trends, and skills and strategies for students to reach their full academic potential. Guest speakers include faculty in the allied health programs and working professionals in the health care industry.
