The primary goal of the local AS degree is to provide a flexible degree format allowing students to complete an AS degree that complies with the target institution’s requirements. The degree allows flexibility in support of degree options including computer engineering, information systems, computer science, and computer graphics. Students may also be able to obtain entry level employment in computer-related fields with this degree.\n\nStudents who complete this program should be able to:\n\n1. Demonstrate a theoretical skills necessary to adapt to technological development and changes in the field of Computer Science.\n2. Demonstrate the ability to design and implement efficient and well organized computer applications.\n3. Demonstrate the ability to communicate and document ideas and results in an efficient, well organized manner."
