      "markdown": "The Small Business Management Associate in Science Degree is primarily for students who plan to manage a small business or work in a small business environment. The Small Business curriculum provides students with the basic understanding of existing business practices. Students will be able to understand and apply the principles of business ethics, social responsibilities of a business, basic functions of management, and the qualifications required in business management and/or ownership.\n\nStudents who complete this program should be able to:\n\n1. Demonstrate the ability to identify and understand ethical and cultural perspectives.\n2. Demonstrate creative thinking skills by integrating and applying appropriate concepts, technologies and decision making techniques to effectively evaluate and manage a small business.\n3. Demonstrate knowledge of business concepts and techniques for owning, running or managing a small business.\n4. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively."
