They include jobs in the food, fiber, and nursery industries; jobs in air, land, water, and natural resources; as well as jobs in pest management, veterinary technology, environmental regulation and protection; biotechnology; accounting, and farm management. Students planning to transfer need to see a counselor to ensure they are taking the correct courses.\n\nStudents who complete this program should be able to:\n\n1. Identify and apply the principles and techniques of modern crop, soil, and livestock management.\n2. Demonstrate scientific evaluation skills including interpreting graphs/data, as well as be proficient in laboratory procedures.\n3. Describe fundamental practices in agriculture for livestock, crops, and soil health and sustainability."
