ESL Level 4 -High Intermediate English Skills teaches students to organize and use correct grammatical functions in oral and written communication in academic, work and life situations. The courses in this certificate are designed for students who are beginning to understand more complex passages and paragraphs,  have knowledge of common grammatical forms and structures, and who can express themselves well.  Recommended prep for this certificate is the successful completion of the Level 3 Low- Intermediate Certificate. During the 216 hours of instruction, students learn more advanced grammar, learn to read and understand more complex reading passages, and write short, multi-paragraph compositions. Topics are related to everyday life experiences and work related topics. In addition  students will be introduced to successful learning strategies and study skills.
