      "markdown": "The Certificate of Achievement in Esthetician is designed to exceed minimum California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology standards. Students will experience a combination of lecture and laboratory instruction covering various topics such as manual, electrical and chemical facials. Proficiencies to be developed include principles of sanitation, client management as well as compliance with laws and administrative regulations.  Courses are offered on an open enrollment basis and students may enroll at any time.  Students are required to purchase a basic cosmetology kit.\n\n### Program Courses & Requirements"
