### Overview

The Certificate of Achievement in Drawing provides students with a comprehensive set of drawing skills that are critical to pursuing a wide array of career paths. This certificate will help you build the drawing competency necessary to pursue careers in fields including: Art, Illustration, Animation, Fashion, Gaming Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture and Landscape Design.

### Requirements

**Certificate of Achievement Requirements**

Complete all Major Requirements for the Certificate of Achievement with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better.  Candidates for a Certificate of Achievement are required to complete at least 20% of the major requirements through SBCC.

### Learning Outcomes

1.  Identify and incorporate the principles of composition and 2D art including line, shape, space, texture and value in their work.
2.  Identify and effectively use the techniques and methods and various media and technologies for drawing.
3.  Recognize and use appropriate language for evaluation and critique of art.
4.  Analyze the cultural, social and economic conditions of art production.
