      "markdown": "### Description\n\nSan José City College offers an Associate in Arts (AA) degree in Engineering. The Associate in Arts, Engineering Major meets the lower division course requirements necessary for a student to transfer to a four-year university as a junior to complete their baccalaureate degree in engineering. This program also opens the door for entry-level internships in engineering. Career options include many disciplines of engineering: mechanical, civil, electrical, computer, industrial, aeronautical/astronautical, chemical, materials, environmental, biomedical, and others.\n\nA grade of \"C\" or better is required for each course in the major or area of emphasis. A \"P\" (Pass) grade is an acceptable grade for courses in the major or area of emphasis if the course is taken on a Pass/No Pass basis."
