Courses in this certificate provide basic skills and knowledge in machining, manufacturing, engineering drawing, and strengthens their communication skills in preparation for these positions. These foundation courses prepare students for more academically rigorous engineering technology programs.\n\n**Award Notes:**\nA Certificate of Performance is a departmental award that does not appear on the student’s transcript. All courses must be completed within the San Diego Community College District.\nThis program is not eligible for federal financial aid in accordance with Federal regulations.\n\n**Learning Outcome(s): Students who complete the Pre-Engineering Technology Program will be able to:**\n\n1.
