      "markdown": "### Summary\n\nCertificate of Performance for entry level electronics technician.\n\n**Award Notes:**\nA Certificate of Performance is a departmental award that does not appear on the student’s transcript. All courses must be completed within the San Diego Community College District.\nThis program is not eligible for federal financial aid in accordance with Federal regulations.\n\n**Learning Outcome(s): Students who complete the Electronics Technician Level I Program will be able to:**\n\n1.  Demonstrate the proper use of basic electronic test instrumentation including an oscilloscope, a digital volt-ohm meter, a signal generator, and a dual power supply.\n2.  Analyze and explain basic electronic theory including Ohm's Law, the power formula, and calculation of voltage gain and power gain.\n3.  Identify standard electronic components including resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, bipolar transistors, field effect transistors, and integrated circuits.\n4.  Demonstrate the ability to prepare reports that include text, tables, and spreadsheets using productivity software on a computer."
