California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC) is a set of courses designed to fulfill all lower-division general education requirements for California State University and University of California campuses, as well as lead to a certificate of achievement at Rio Hondo College.

To acquire the **Certificate of Achievement in Cal-GETC**, it is necessary to complete the California General Education Transfer Curriculum requirements listed in this catalog with a grade of "C" or better. Courses must have been approved for the Cal-GETC area during the term in which the course was taken (please verify approval dates on www.assist.org).
