# Reading Skills for ESL (Certificate of Completion)

This two-course sequence is designed to equip non-native speakers of English with the reading skills and knowledge needed for academic writing and for success in career, associate, or transfer-degree programs.  In order to earn a certificate, students must successfully complete both N READ 990 and N ESL 931.

1.  Identify meanings of texts.
2.  Read a variety of texts independently.
