This program provides an introduction to careers and opportunities within the automotive industry, and facilitates the transition into automotive technology or auto body repair credit certification and degree pathways. Laboratory sessions focus on safety in the automotive shop and equip students with foundational skills in basic automotive maintenance and auto body repair.

Learning Outcome(s):

1.  Demonstrate standards of safety in an automotive shop.
2.  Perform basic maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
3.  Apply heat to the correct area to enable the shrinking of stretched metal.
