Provides the skills necessary for entry-level employment as a gas metal arc welder/flux cored arc welder.

Learning Outcome(s):

1.  Successful students will identify, evaluate and effectively apply safety issues as they pertain to welding lab safety, occupational safety and personal safety.
2.  Successful students will identify, evaluate and effectively demonstrate how to produce acceptable fillet and groove welds in all positions using gas metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding.
3.  Successful students will identify, evaluate and effectively demonstrate how to set-up, adjust, operate and shut down advanced parameters on, gas metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding equipment.
