The six courses required for the certificate assist students in building confidence with goal-setting, communication, and problem-solving in everyday situations.\n\nLearning Outcome(s):\n\n1.  Identify and effectively communicate needs to individuals in the home, community, and workplace.\n2.  Use critical thinking skills to identify a problem and find a solution.\n3.
