### N AT 900 — Introduction to Automotive Technology

This course will introduce students to all the employment opportunities available in the automotive field. Students will learn the basics of the internal combustion engine, electrical system, brakes, and other common automotive systems. Through laboratory practices, students will learn automotive safety in the shop, perform exercises to identify components under the hood, learn how to use an automotive lift, and perform basic maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
