The Phlebotomy program, prepares the student to take the national Examination required to work in the field of Phlebotomy. Students will complete didactic training and clinical training in a licensed laboratory setting. Once  hours are finished and they have completed didactic training with a letter "C" or better the National Examination can be taken. After successful completion, a state phlebotomy license can be obtained.

## Program Outcomes

1.  Demonstrated compliance with state and federal standards of practice for certified phlebotomy technicians, measured by successful completion of clinical training and written exam
