The personal finance certificate is designed for students who want a broad understanding of fiscal management techniques and a better understanding of developing a business strategy. The focus is on developing skills and knowledge to support successful business organizations. With an increased need for a business ecosystem innovation mindset, the concept is widely being embraced by both private and public employers.

## Program Outcomes

1.  Demonstrated an awareness of ways to think about solving financial issues as applied to household decision making and to areas of income tax and estate planning, retirement, investments, and portfolio and risk management.
