Completion of this program will award the student with a Senior Healthcare Technician Certificate and prepare the student for employment as a basic caregiver for the elderly in a variety of health service and community settings to include residential senior care facilities, adult day care, and home care.

#### Program Learning Outcomes

1.  Provide holistic care as a Senior Healthcare Technician to support elderly patients and their family members.
2.  Explain basic consumer and legal information specific to the elderly population.

#### Potential careers students may enter upon completion are as follows:

-   Senior Healthcare Technician in an agency
-   Senior Healthcare Technician in a long term facility
-   Senior Healthcare Technician in a family home
