      "markdown": "The Associate in Science in Public Health Science for Transfer Degree prepares students for a seamless transfer into the CSU system to complete a baccalaureate degree. The Public Health Science Transfer Degree is designed to prepare students for a CSU Major in: Health Science, Health Science with Health Education option, Health Science with Public Health option, Health Science with Community Health option, Health Science with Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Health Education, Public Health, Public Health Promotion, Kinesiology with Health Education, Kinesiology with Health Science option, Kinesiology with Health and Wellness Promotion, Kinesiology with Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and Collaborative Health and Human Services with Community Health option.\n\nAssociate Degree for Transfer Requirements:\n\n(1) Completion of 60 semester units that are eligible for transfer to the California State University, including the following:\n\n(A) The California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC).\n\n(B) A minimum of 18 semester units in a major or area of emphasis, as determined by the community college district.\n\n(2) Obtainment of a minimum grade point average of 2.0.\n\nTitle 5 section 55063(a) also require that students must earn a C or better in all courses required for the major or area of emphasis, or a \"P\" if the course was taken on a 'pass-no-pass' basis.\n\n**Learning Outcome(s):**\n\n1.  Identify, assess, utilize and articulate credible information resources on personal and public health current issues.\n2.  Effectively communicate strategies or tactics to improve health inequities."
