      "markdown": "**Kinesiology, Athletics, and Public Safety _Division_**\n\nwww.elcamino.edu/academics/divisions/kinesiology-athletics-and-public-safety/\n\nA Certificate of Achievement will be granted upon completion of all program requirements.\n\nThe Recreation Aquatics Specialist Certificate of Achievement provides students with knowledge, ability and\nskills in the field of recreation with specialization in aquatics. Students who complete this certificate program\nwill have developed the ability to plan, coordinate, schedule and instruct a variety of programs specific to\naquatics and recreation. The certificate and curriculum will provide opportunities for certification in Basic First\nAid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Lifesaving, and Water Safety Instruction (WSI). Upon completion\nstudents will have the necessary aquatics certification and knowledge to gain employment in occupations such\nas, lifeguarding, pool management and instruction of recreational aquatic courses.\n\n### Required Core: 13 units"
