Students acquire proficiencies in foundations of electronics and computer hardware and systems applications. Emphasis is placed on the use of modern electronic testequipment, circuit simulation software, and experimentation structured in an industrial lab setting. Electronics and computer hardware technology systems provide instruction from basicsystem configuration to large scale computer integration and analysis. Students may pursue industrial certifications after completing as few as three courses in Electronics and ComputerHardware Technology.\n\nAt least 50 percent of the major requirements for the Associate in Science degree must be completed at El Camino College.\n\nFor Gainful Employment program information, please visit www.elcamino.edu/academics/areas-of-study/electronics-and-computer-hardware-technology.php.\n\n### Required Core: 21 units"
