This program is designed to prepare students for entry level employment as coaches.  Students will gain academic knowledge and fitness skills through the required coursework, as well as develop the skills necessary to apply this knowledge in a vocational setting.  The curriculum has been designed to equip students with theoretical and practical background in coaching and athletic development.  The content of the athletic coaching program will include, job availability, working with athletes,  and basic first aid.  This entry level certificate will assist students wishing to continue their education towards transfer and a degree in Kinesiology.
