The core of this interdivisional major is a combination of sequences in calculus, accounting, and economics. Student will acquire a conceptual understanding of the principles of differential and integral calculus for functions of several variables, financial and managerial accounting, as well as economics theory. Additionally, student gains skills in the mining, dissemination, and presentation of data through coursework in computer science, communications, and statistics.\n\nCompetency will be assessed through projects and examinations that evaluate the student's ability to solve a wide range of problems experienced in the actuarial field.\n\nFor Gainful Employment program information, please visit www.elcamino.edu/academics/divisions/mathematical-sciences/actuarial-science/.\n\n### Required Courses:"
