Prepares the student for entry level employment as a medical assistant and eligibility for approved state or national certification exam.

**Learning Outcome(s):**

1.  Demonstrate and apply ethical, competent, and safe patient care within their scope of practice of a Medical Assistant and/or Phlebotomist.
2.  Applies the knowledge/skills necessary to pass the State exam (phlebotomy only).
3.  Applies the knowledge/skills necessary to become employed (medical assisting only).
