The coursework includes theory, keyboarding, and ear training skills. This program prepares students for one of the many careers in music; broadens their general knowledge of music; and develops performance skills and the option to pursue an advanced degree in music. The Associate of Arts in Music for Transfer will prepare students for further studies toward a California State University (CSU) baccalaureate degree in Music. Students should consult with a counselor to determine whether this degree is the best option for their transfer goals.
