The GED certificate (Certificate of Secondary Education Completion/GED) is an alternative to a high school diploma and is accepted by many employers, community colleges, vocational training programs, and governmental agencies. The completion of this certificate will help the student be successful in a variety of college courses as well as improve their employability and/or job opportunities.
