      "markdown": "### Description\n\nComputer-Aided Drafting/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) certificate students have learned to operate current industry-standard software used in mechanical design and manufacturing. This includes 2D design and drafting and 3D feature-based solid modeling, as well as using models designed in these programs as the basis for 3D printing and CNC tool-path generation for part fabrication. Students will also have a fundamental understanding of ANSI standard drafting practices, 3D printing and material removal manufacturing processes.\n\n### Program Learning Outcomes\n\nUpon the successful completion of this program, students should be able to:\n\n1.  Employ critical thinking skills that apply drafting standards and practices in the work place.\n2.  Demonstrate professional career skills employing drafting standards and practices in the workplace.\n3.  Communicate professionally in the work place."
