Students completing this degree are guaranteed admission to the CSU system, but not to a particular campus. Students should consult with a counselor for more information on specific university major admission and transfer requirements. Students who complete an ADT/AST and transfer to a similar major at a CSU are guaranteed a pathway to finish their baccalaureate degrees in 60 semester or 90 quarter units.\n\nTo obtain this Associate Degree for Transfer, students must complete:\n\n- 60 units that are eligible for transfer to the California State University\n- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0\n- A grade of “C” or \"P\" or better in all courses required for the major\n- A minimum of 18 semester units in the major\n- The California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC)\n\n**\n\n##### Career Opportunities\n\n**\n\nTransfer to a 4-year university with a major in Mathematics or a related field.\n\n**\n\n##### Learning Outcome(s)\n\n**\n\n1. Calculation: Calculate accurately and comprehensively.\n2. Application/Analysis: Draw appropriate conclusions based on the quantitative analysis of data, while recognizing the limits of this analysis.\n3. Representation/Communication: Represent relevant information in various mathematical or algorithmic forms. Explain quantitative evidence and analysis."
