This major will provide students with a full two years of physics education as well as a strong foundation in math and chemistry. Students who complete this UCTP degree in physics will be guaranteed admission to the UC system with a minimum 3.5 GPA. To Achieve the Associate of Science: Upon completion of graduation requirements and the required degree courses with at least a ‘C’ or ‘P’ grade in each course, the student will be awarded an Associate of Science degree.\n\n### Program Learning Outcomes\n\n- 1\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of and recognize the processes that explain physical phenomena.\n\n- 2\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to apply the methodologies of science when approaching a physics problem.\n\n- 3\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to apply logical quantitative and qualitative reasoning in solving physics problems or analyzing arguments.\n\n### Program Requirements"
