#### Paraprofessional Level I Certificate of Achievement

This certificate of achievement will provide students with the necessary knowledge for working as an entry-level educational paraprofessional in or outside of the classroom. The certificate of achievement courses will increase students' knowledge base and increase the likelihood of success when working with school-age children and adolescents. To Achieve the Certificate of Achievement: Upon completion of the required courses with at least a ‘C’ or ‘P’ grade in each course, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement.

### Program Learning Outcomes

-   1\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to identify the requirements needed to be employable as an educational paraprofessional in or outside a classroom.

-   2\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to support the learning of technology and literacy at the K-8 grade levels.

-   3\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to differentiate between the roles of paraprofessionals and professionals in and outside of the classroom.
