#### Mammography Program Certificate of Completion

This certificate of completion will provide students the MQSA required 40 hours of Mammography education to apply for the State of California Mammography Licensure Examination. Topics include digital & mammographic imaging principles, radiation safety, anatomy, pathology, and state and federal regulations for mammography. To achieve this certificate of completion students must complete both program courses RADTB55AN and RADTB55BN. To achieve the Certificate of Completion: Upon completion of the following courses with a grade of ‘P’, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

### Program Learning Outcomes

-   1\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to apply foundational concepts of radiography, radiation protection, and patient care within the realm of mammography.

-   2\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to disseminate normal breast anatomy from common pathologies and communicate diagnostic and treatment protocols.

-   3\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to critique mammographic imaging outcomes based upon appropriate patient positioning, use of accessory equipment, and exposure factors.

-   4\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to evaluate state and federal regulatory mammographic statutes and assess quality assurance and quality control compliance.
