It is a digital world, and those who understand this world can become valuable additions to technology-focused employers. The Electronics Associate of Science teaches essential skills that can be put to use as an industrial technician, electronics technician, field service representative, salesperson or computer technician. A degree holding student will also be looked at for quick promotions into supervision and management positions. To Achieve the Associate of Science: Upon completion of graduation requirements and the required degree courses with at least a ‘C’ or ‘P’ grade in each course, the student will be awarded an Associate of Science degree.\n\n### Program Learning Outcomes\n\n- 1\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will demonstrate proficiency in technical skills and safety principles required for employment in the electronics industry. Assessment:Track VTEA core indicators and safety exam pass rates.\n\n- 2\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will demonstrate problem solving skills used in electrical design and product development. Assessment:Skill/theoretical exams and evaluation of group lab assignments and team projects.\n\n- 3\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will demonstrate a deep understanding of the core material required for certification in the electronics program. Assessment:Successful completion of required courses and track awarded degrees.\n\n### Program Requirements"
