Career opportunities include CNC Machinist CNC Programmer and CNC Operator. To Achieve the Job Skills Certificate: Upon completion of the required courses with at least a ‘C’ or ‘P’ grade in each course, the student will be awarded a Job Skills Certificate.\n\n### Program Learning Outcomes\n\n-   1\\. Students will demonstrate proficiency in technical skills and safety principles required for industrial employment. Assessment:Students will demonstrate proper techniques to safely set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools.\n\n-   2\\. Students will demonstrate problem solving skills used in industrial design and product development. Assessment:Using a properly dimensioned blueprints students will develop and troubleshoot programs for CNC machines written by hand and using CAM (computer aided manufacturing) software.\n\n-   3\\. Students will demonstrate a deep understanding of the core material required for transfer to a four year university degree program or for certification in the department programs.
