"markdown": "#### Civil Engineering Technology Associate of Science\n\nGraduates of the Civil Engineering Technology program are prepared to support various areas of civil engineering, such as construction, water resources, public works, structural detailing and design, environmental evaluation, and energy development. In addition to engineering fundamentals, the program includes coursework in surveying, AutoCAD, building information modeling (BIM), construction materials, financial accounting, and business law. Courses in the Civil Engineering Technology program are aligned with lower division requirements for Bachelor of Science in Construction Management programs at the following California State University campuses: Fresno, Northridge, Long Beach, East Bay, Sacramento, Chico, and San Diego. Additional opportunities for transfer may be available through the Western Undergraduate Exchange. Students interested in transferring should contact a counselor or educational advisor. Upon completion of graduation requirements and the required degree courses with at least a “C” or “P” grade in each course, the student will be eligible for an Associate of Science degree.\n\n### Program Learning Outcomes\n\n- 1\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to apply knowledge, techniques, skills, and modern tools of mathematics, science, engineering, technology, and business to solve well-defined problems in civil engineering technology.\n\n- 2\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to evaluate the financial, legal, and ethical aspects of civil engineering projects.\n\n- 3\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to apply written, oral, and graphical communication in well-defined technical and non-technical environments on civil engineering projects.\n\n- 4\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to conduct standard civil engineering tests, take measurements, and experiments and to analyze and interpret the results.\n\n- 5\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to function effectively as a member of a technical team in civil engineering.\n\n### Program Requirements"
