Completion of this certificate ensures that the student has met the lower division General Education requirements for all CSU campuses To achieve the Certificate of Achievement: Upon completion of the required courses with at least a ‘C” grade or better in each course, the student will be awarded a California State University (CSU) General Education Breadth Certificate of Achievement.\n\n### Program Learning Outcomes\n\n-   1\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.\n\n-   2\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to apply new and accepted ideas about the natural universe using testable methodology.\n\n-   3\\. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to explain the values of a culture as expressed through art, literature, language and philosophical viewpoints.\n\n-   4\\.
