#### Building a Canvas Course Certificate of Completion

The Certificate of Completion in Introduction to Building a Canvas Course prepares current and future teachers to effectively build a Canvas course. This 18-hour certificate guides students through courses. The first course supports current and future teachers in understanding the integrated tools within Canvas as well as creating a module. The second course supports students as they leverage Design Tools to create a visually appealing course. Upon completion of the required courses with a grade of “P” for passing, the student will be eligible for a Certificate of Completion.

### Program Learning Outcomes

-   1\. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to understand Canvas tools, including Canvas Studio, and how to leverage them to support student learning.

-   2\. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to effectively create a Canvas module with a page, a discussion, a quiz, and an assignment as well as to effectively individualize quizzes and assignments for students.

-   3\. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to effectively leverage Design Tools to create visually appealing courses centered around user experience design strategies.
