"description": "This course builds on the foundational skills learned in WOOD B1 (Introduction to Woodworking), offering students the opportunity to refine their techniques and explore more advanced projects. Students will deepen their understanding of wood selection, joinery, and finishing techniques while gaining hands-on experience with a variety of tools and machinery. Emphasis will be placed on designing and building functional furniture and custom wood pieces using modern woodworking methods. Throughout the course, students will also learn about safety practices, sustainable sourcing of materials, and the importance of craftsmanship. By the end of the course, students will complete a final project that demonstrates their ability to design, plan, and execute a high-quality woodworking piece. This course includes lab time for individual and group work, as well as opportunities for personalized instruction.",
